wedding-conglatuation envelope

One of my college classmates, Ji Sheng-Han, is getting marry on Oct-14, 2007.

As Taiwanese custom, people who have got the wedding invitation have to give a red envelop with money to the new couples as great blessing when attending the wedding party.

Disappointingly, I can’t go to Ji’s wedding party because my cousin will get marry at the same day.

So I have to send my best wish along with “money in red envelop” to Ji ahead of time.

In order to show my regards, I made a “red envelop” with a lot of hearts on इत

Well….actually the “envelope” is pink, haha… it’s very cute though!

First, I chose a पिंक paper and trimmed the shape of an envelope, then use the all-hearts stamps (Judi-Kins, GK-2748)

with moonlight white as background.

At the front side, I selected the “ flower-heart” ( PSX, E-0224) as the subject,

stamped one(with red inkpad) on the background and another (with violet inkpad) on a piece of “shrink plastic”.

Cut the shrink as the heart shape, punch a hole on the top and then heat the shrink piece until it got small and flat.

Decorate the little piece with a piece gold string and tape it on the paper with a little piece of ribbon.

At the back side, casually make several seals with “ happy wedding day” in green color and also make one seal with black emboss.

Finally, put money in the envelope, seal it. Here the envelope is completed.
